Today is Wednesday and on the 3, 6, and 9th week of school we are doing an activity on STEAM witch stands for science, technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math. this week is the 3ed week, and our challenge was to drop an egg from about 3.5 meters. Our materials were three sheets of A4 paper, a plastic bag, 1 metre of thin string, one sheet of a 5th in paper, Sellotape, scissors, an egg and finally paper to sketch design and a phone or something to take pictures with we dropped it and it failed. it failed the egg cracked we were mind-blowing we had made heaps of comforting for the egg after we drop all of our eggs we got moved on to another task this was to find what happened what went wrong and what could we change it. Down below is a slideshow of what went wrong and more thanks for reading. Do you know how to drop an egg from 3.5 meters with those materials without it breaking? Amazing Aladdin

 Kia ora bloggers just like the last blog post I did I have done it like Aladdin the teachers set up a slide on an activity that we could do this time I did it on Minecraft. We had to make an Aladdin castle I tried as hard as I can to make I look like the castle in Alddin. Do you like it?

Today we are doing some individual task that our teachers set for us, around the school play that we are doing. Our school play/production for this year is..... Aladin yes we are doing Aladin for this year play. We had set individual task one of the tasks was making pixel art and I did that task about our favourite character from Aladin I chose the genie because I thought he was quite cool anyway here is my work hope you enjoy.

 

Horrible Holocaust

Over the past term, we have been doing a website about the Holocaust. We have been learning about the Holocaust and about Hitler. We started off reading a book called "Once" it is a book about the Holocaust and WW2 (World War Two). Then when we got halfway through the book my teacher Mr Gillstrom set a task. we also rote some explanation features. 

Our task was to make a google site and come up with questions starting with "who what when where why and how" like who gave Hitler permission to kill Jewish people.? How did Jewish people hide during the Holocaust?

Then we had to make some connections with the world and the book "Once". Like the feeling of getting lost. I make a website with all of the information on it. the LINK to my google site.

Over the past week the teacher introdutced Hundertwasser art at first I thought it was a bit weird NO STRIGHT lines WHAT! I thought of this for a long time then I got to work I used complementry colors to make my art. This is my Hundertwasser art hope you like it. How was your Easter holiday?

Welcome back to my blog. For today we were working on how to say wheather in Maori. We looked through a few different slides that showed how to say it and things you can say back if someone asks you that. There are different replies to say if someone asks you that like Kei Te Were which means it is hot. And there are much more replies. And our activity was to make a poster showing different replies to that question and making it look creative. Here is my work. Do you know how to speak what the weather is now?
