Yay lockdown is over well for the south island at least. I feel sorry Auckland they are at level 4. For this week we did Moari since it is NZ Moari Week, we did an animation where can I get the animation around Moari you had to include at least 12 translations here is the LINK to the animation that Brock and I made.

I hope everybody is doing well. During this week for our math tasks, we have been learning Bedmas. At first it looked very hard and confusing but with help from my teacher I worked it out. Today for our Wednesday activity we learnt about renewable energy, What is renewable energy? It is often referred to as clean energy, it comes from natural sources or processes that are constantly replenished. For example, sunlight or wind keep shining and blowing, even if their availability depends on time and weather.

For the past few weeks, we have been working on Matariki-related things. If you don't know what Matariki is it is a star cluster that has 7 stars they are Matariki, Ururangi, Waipunarangi, Waita, Waiti, Tupu-A-Nuku, and Tupu-A-Rangi.
The teacher's made us make a call artwork using foam you have to draw the stars on the mountains onto a piece of foam sing me get some paint and paint over it and then you print over it. Then you get an A3 piece of paper to make a frame cut out the insides can stick the paper to the brain and then you get a pencil in write your name on it BOOM DONE. have you seen it Matariki cluster before?

Bloggers today we have been doing heaps of stuff the teachers have split our class in half my half has been doing the weekly quiz in some special illusion 3 illusions here are some photos about our illusions, sorry my mouse cursor was in the middle of some of them. the other half was doing something about science and so they got to get a pair of callipers for those who don't know what callipers are they are pretty much like tweezers or a compass. And they will touch with the callipers to the designated body part to say if you can feel it. the designated body parts for the cheek the lip the fingertip the palm of the hand the back of the hand the arm and the knee cap behind the knee and the sole of the foot. If we didn't feel comfortable with them we could skip that part. I found out that I am very sensitive. Are you sensitive?

Today is Wednesday and on the 3, 6, and 9th week of school we are doing an activity on STEAM witch stands for science, technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math. this week is the 3ed week, and our challenge was to drop an egg from about 3.5 meters. Our materials were three sheets of A4 paper, a plastic bag, 1 metre of thin string, one sheet of a 5th in paper, Sellotape, scissors, an egg and finally paper to sketch design and a phone or something to take pictures with we dropped it and it failed. it failed the egg cracked we were mind-blowing we had made heaps of comforting for the egg after we drop all of our eggs we got moved on to another task this was to find what happened what went wrong and what could we change it. Down below is a slideshow of what went wrong and more thanks for reading. Do you know how to drop an egg from 3.5 meters with those materials without it breaking? We also put some photos in the slide show of the egg and its safety box for you.
Kia ora bloggers just like the last blog post I did I have done it like Aladdin the teachers set up a slide on an activity that we could do this time I did it on Minecraft. We had to make an Aladdin castle I tried as hard as I can to make I look like the castle in Alddin. Do you like it?

Today we are doing some individual task that our teachers set for us, around the school play that we are doing. Our school play/production for this year is..... Aladin yes we are doing Aladin for this year play. We had set individual task one of the tasks was making pixel art and I did that task about our favourite character from Aladin I chose the genie because I thought he was quite cool anyway here is my work hope you enjoy.

Welcome back to my blog. For today we were working on how to say wheather in Maori. We looked through a few different slides that showed how to say it and things you can say back if someone asks you that. There are different replies to say if someone asks you that like Kei Te Were which means it is hot. And there are much more replies. Today is Wednesday so we have tech. For tech, we go to a school because we do not have a tech centre at marshland school. For this activity, our teaches asked us what would we do in these scenarios our teaches printed out and made us fill out our copy we had to do different scenarios one was about playing bball and the other was about a school disco. Lastly, we had to to tell you the consciences about each scenario so the one about the disco the conscience would be you would get left out and the consciences for the bball would be getting beaten up Thanks for reading. what would you do?

I was pretty lucky with going on holiday and then straight into a school camp. For this activity, we had to do a self-portrait of LEGO man I didn't really like the hair I tried for like 20 minutes then I thought I should move on I got very angry with this project because I can get there right in my hand is an iPhone 69 I made it up. How are your holidays? What was your favourite part about it?

Woop Woop at our last camp, we had lots of fun with heaps of activities including kayaking, code-breaking, coasteering, orienteering, high ropes, a campfire and lastly a couple of games of Spotlight.
my favourite part of camp was coasteering because when you just off a rock you feel so good you just feel relief. There is some more explaing in my DLO (digital learning object.)
